At Scottish Fold & Straight, we care deeply about the well-being of every kitten we help families bring home. This Health Guarantee outlines what you can expect and how we support you if something seems off after adoption/placement.
What’s Covered
- Good health at the time of transfer/placement based on our general health checks and day-to-day observation.
- Clear communication about the kitten’s current care routine (feeding, litter habits, and general behavior).
- Support after you bring your kitten home if you have concerns or questions.
If You Notice a Health Concern
If your kitten shows signs of illness (such as lethargy, vomiting/diarrhea, breathing trouble, refusing food, or other urgent symptoms), please contact us as soon as possible at kittensc35@gmail.com.
Recommended next step:
- Seek a veterinarian visit promptly (especially for urgent symptoms).
- Send us any relevant notes or documentation from your vet so we can advise on next steps.
Important Notes
- This guarantee does not replace veterinary care. If your kitten appears unwell, a vet visit is always the priority.
- We cannot guarantee immunity from all future health issues, but we can support you with guidance and responsiveness if concerns arise.
- Health outcomes can be influenced by many factors, including diet changes, stress from travel/transition, and home environment.
Our Commitment
Our goal is for your kitten to thrive—and we’ll do our best to support you through the transition and any health concerns that may come up.
If you want, tell me:
- Do you want this guarantee to be time-based (e.g., “7 days” or “14 days”)?
- Do you require a vet exam receipt to make a claim?
- Are you offering kittens through adoption or sale?
…and I’ll tailor the page wording to match your exact policy.
